Nikola Vuksan, a dude on life’s journey, constantly getting detoured in all the right direction (for the most part).

Nikola Vuksan is a local Vancouver musician, constantly searching for ways of evolving his voice and contributing to the peers around him.  His journey started at age 8 with the gift of a cheap nylon guitar in which he learned to bust a couple of short ideas as well as playing around with his childhood friends pianos bumping out small melodies. Music took a bit of a break for other life pursuits but the regular indulgence of sonic nutrition stayed regular in life.

It was in high school, at 15 when Nikola decided to pick up the string string again. It was a mixture of the right crowd, the right heartbreaks, and the right (wrong) chemical imbalance every 15 year old hormone ridden boy experiences once in his life. To make a long story short, the guitar stuck around longer than anything and provided a place for Nikola for pursue self improvement and important lessons on the macro and micro level.  Most importantly it provided a place for me to articulate my thoughts and feelings in the clearest and safest way I knew how, sonically.

The pursuit of a musical identity and experimentation are elements which are constantly chased with Nikola. The gift of expression is a experience that has seldom been taken for granted, and is always open for outside influence. This Page is a articulation of those values and hopefully a reflection of personal growth in expression.
